How to setup and use Duty-based tracking

Learn how to set up and use the duty-based location tracking feature for your operations in Indecab.

Duty-based tracking allows you to view and share the location of your driver while performing a duty via the Indecab Go Driver App.

How to set up Duty-based tracking

Duty based tracking is a chargeable feature in Indecab. Please connect with our support team support@indecab.com to enable it.

    How to use duty-based tracking

Once you have duty-based tracking enabled, you will be able to view your driver’s live location in Location Tracking whenever your driver starts a duty.

Here you will be able to see your own drivers, your DCOs, and Network company supplier drivers’ live locations while they are performing a duty for you

Note: To view locations of a network company supplier’s drivers, the supplier must have granted permission to share the live location with you.

Go to Location Tracking - click on a driver’s name to view current status

Here you will see a pop up that displays the driver’s current activity:

    1- Status:

This will show whether a driver is available or in-progress and performing a duty

    2- Location Time:

Here you will see the last registered location’s time

    3- Battery:

    Driver’s mobile battery percentage

    4- Activity:

Indicates whether a driver is moving or is stationary.

    5- Speed:

If the driver is moving this will show the driver’s speed.

    6- Assigned Vehicle:

If the driver has been assigned a vehicle you have entered in your Indecab system, this will display the vehicle’s details.

Note: If an employee is assigned to a specific branch, they will only see drivers who are either:

    • Assigned to the same branch
    • Not assigned to any default branch
